Have you recently thought about selling your company but are unsure of the timing? Many CEO’s and business owners contemplate whether this year is a good time to sell a business. McKinsey reported that in late 2023, a spike in M&A activity signaled to capital markets and private equity that selling your business could be good in 2024.

This interactive panel of Philadelphia Founder/CEOs who have recently sold their company, led by John Lee with Griffin Financial as moderator, will sure be a must-see event, even if you’re not in the market to sell your company.

John will engage the panel in discussions in the following areas:

  • Determine the right timing to sell your company
  • How to preserve your legacy while maximizing the community and social impact
  • How to determine valuation of your business for personal liquidity
  • The challenges and struggles to get to a closing transaction

Vicki Sack

Nearly 14 years ago, Vicki jumped feet first into launching Juno Search Partners alongside Mikal Harden, with visions of building a firm rooted in Philadelphia and the local HR community. They stayed focused on immersing themselves in this market and were determined to put their clients and candidates at the forefront of every decision they made.

As such, they poured all their energy into building their network and donating their time and energy into the various business and HR organizations across the region. They got busy with the local SHRM chapters, PSPS, HR Person of the Year Awards, and have proudly held leadership roles within each of these organizations. Giving back to the community is at the heart of everything they do - you'll often find our team volunteering their time for Philabundance, City Year, and Philadelphia Academies, to name a few.

In 2010, everyone thought they were crazy - Mikal & Vicki were starting the firm on the tail end of one of the worst recessions in history - and true to form, they went and started Juno Capital in the middle of a global pandemic - why not? The truth is, we're Philly, which means we're not scared and we support each other.

In 2022 we made the gigantic leap, deciding for Juno Search Partners to be acquired by NFP, a global insurance brokerage.  This acquisition was strategic in nature, one that would allow NFP to expand their Human Capital offerings and the partnership with Juno made perfect sense. Vicki and Mikal remain at the helm of the organization.

This year Vicki will celebrate her oldest’s college graduation and their youngest is wrapping up his freshman year. She and her husband enjoy cheering on their college athletes on the sides of rivers at regattas and soccer fields all across the country (and the globe), skiing their way through the winter, and chasing after their Boston Terriers. They are avid Philly sports fans but their favorite athletes on the planet share their last name.
