Congrats, your business is growing! But with any fast-growing company also come a host of new challenges and navigating this unchartered territory can be tricky. Successful business leaders know that being a great communicator is an imperative as their business grows. Unfortunately, communication efforts are typically focused on what is said, when the real superpower of communication is listening, not telling. Since as much as 80% of a leader’s time is spent listening to uncover insights from their teams, customers, consultants, and investors to make critical decisions, shifting the communication paradigm from telling to listening is key. Learning this underdeveloped skill is critical to being an amazing communicator and leader so that you can successfully tackle the challenges in your growing business.

Join Listening Guide Christine Miles for an interactive workshop on how to transform the way we listen so that we can lead, sell, and grow more successfully. Christine will share an overview of her Listening Path® system that allows you to uncover the true needs of your clients, customers, employees, and colleagues so you can address them effectively. Participants will walk away from this dynamic workshop with a deeper understanding of what it is costing them not to listen, how to listen to truly understand, and how to cultivate cultures of empathy and understanding at their organizations to help reach their goals.

Speaker

With a background in psychology, Christine Miles has 25+ years of experience training individuals and organizations on how to build emotional intelligence to drive better business results.  Christine learned to listen differently from a very young age and her ability to listen has been the single thread in all of her success. Throughout her career, Christine has also seen the inability to listen as the common thread of why leaders, salespeople, projects, and businesses fail. Christine founded  EQuipt, a training and consulting company, and developed the Listening Path®, a game-changing approach to transform how people listen, to help others learn this critical business and life skill. Her approach has been taught at Fortune 100 corporations, schools and universities, law firms, and privately-held companies nationwide. Christine is also the author of the book “What is it Costing You Not to Listen?,” which received the Axiom Business Book Awards’ Silver Award in the sales category. Christine can be reached at cmiles@equipt-people.com or on social media @cmileslistens.
